What my clients say

It was great working with Marie. Her work was consistently of the highest standard, with great attention to detail. She was thorough with every task, and would show initiative and take charge when offered the opportunity. She was also just a lovely addition to the team with her positive, calm attitude. We look forward to working with her again in future.

I commissioned Marie to make a custom kimono. She was very precise in both her research on how I wanted the garment and how the classical kimono could be modernised for comfort and a more snug fit. I would be happy to recommend Marie to anyone who wants their ideas realised  in a way that not only looks great, but fits extremely well.

For the love of garment tech

My passion lies in figuring out how to cut a garment, which materials to choose and how to construct it in order to achieve the intended look, function and quality.

After formal training my work has seen me change between fashion and high end costume giving me a rounded profile with a focus on craftsmanship and quality.

The varied work in costume has given me experience with a wide variety of materials and construction methods, while my experience in fashion has allowed me to experiment with shapes, cuts and fit.

I currently work out of my home studio in South London, but will be happy to travel to you as required.
